His eyes were cold and lifeless,
staring at my lips dripping in red,
porcelain skin flushed with desire,
a blood union for the silent dead.
My fangs sank softly into his neck,
allowing me the speed of atonement,
ebony hair tumbled over my shoulder,
ready to kill him at any moment.
Until a stake, he was fain to possess,
scraped against the edge of my heart,
as I drained the last of his humanity,
If only he knew we’d never part.
